Tab has no dashboard. You run it from your editor: generate a token here, add it to Claude Code or Cursor, then ask it for a tip jar.

Your MCP token belongs to your account, so sign in first. Type the 6-digit code from the email on the sign-in page to come straight back here. The email’s link opens your account page instead, where Connect your editor leads back here once you’ve started connecting Stripe (it works while Stripe reviews you).

What you’ll set up: once you’re signed in, this page fills in your token.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http tab https://tab.baby/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your-mcp-token>"
Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "tab": {
      "url": "https://tab.baby/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer <your-mcp-token>"
      }
    }
  }
}
  1. Connect your editor. In Claude Code, run the command above in your app’s folder. In Cursor, add the block above to ~/.cursor/mcp.json in your home folder, not to the project’s .cursor/mcp.json, so the token never lands in your repository. Replace <your-mcp-token> with your token.
  2. Ask it: make a tip jar for my app with an $80 monthly goal, then give me the embed
  3. Paste both returned lines into your app: the <div> where the widget should appear, then the <script> tag.
  4. Check it works: ask list my tip jars. Your new tip jar is listed. In Claude Code, /mcp also shows whether the server is connected.
